Cassandra Martinez B.A
Founder, and Board Director
Cassandra Martinez helped cofound Searchlight Society due to her love and passion to help others. Currently Cassandra is working on her masters degree in social work with a tentative completion date for Spring of 2020. Cassandra currently helps to facilitate and operate Searchlight Society.
Cassandra holds a Bachelor's in Sociology. She is also a Licensed Adult Residential Facility Administrator. Cassandra is trained in CPI, Crisis Support and Deescalation, Homeless Health Care, and the Housing First Model.
Founder and Director of Operations
Daniel is one of the cofounding members of Searchlight Society. Daniel is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Psychology. Having more than 6 years of experience in business operations, and 4 years in management Daniel helps to operate and facilitate all programs Searchlight has to offer.
Daniel is currently working with elderly clients with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis. Daniel in the past has been able to garner invaluable experience from volunteering abroad in Peru with a children's orphanage.
Daniel holds a valid Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certificate, as well as is trained in CPI, Crisis Support and Intervention, Homeless Healthcare, and the Housing First Model.
IT and Technology Implementation
Jonathan currently holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Cal State Long Beach. Jonathan provides technology and IT service to Searchlight assisting our organization in all of our computer software needs.
Briana is currently a candidate to receive her Master's in Social Work. Briana has various experience working with vulnerable populations including individuals in skid row. She has also studied abroad to work and learn about the social systems in Guatemala and their operations.
Intake and Assesment Volunteer Lead
Melanie Herrera is a dedicated volunteer with Searchlight Society. Melanie has committed to volunteering her time to conduct intake and assessments for our HOME Line as well as provide training and compliance with our new members.
